They may also order a questionnaire to better determine if you are indeed depressed. The doctor will then determine whether you are suffering from depression and whether there is a trigger that is contributing to your symptoms.

If you are feeling depressed, see a physician as soon as possible. Depression can affect anyone, but it is vital to seek help early on. Many primary care physicians conduct screenings for depression as part of routine exams. You can also request a referral to a psychiatrist if you suspect you are suffering from depression.
